Sin embargo, consumir demasiados dulces puede tener un impacto negativo en tu salud debido al alto contenido de az\u00facar que contienen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para asegurarse de no exceder la ingesta diaria recomendada de az\u00facar y a\u00fan as\u00ed disfrutar de golosinas ocasionales, es importante conocer el \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico (IG) de los diferentes tipos de dulces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La puntuaci\u00f3n de IG asignada a cada tipo de alimento indica la rapidez con la que los carbohidratos presentes en ese alimento en particular se digieren en glucosa, que luego ingresa al torrente sangu\u00edneo y provoca un aumento en los niveles de az\u00facar en la sangre despu\u00e9s del consumo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los alimentos con puntajes de IG m\u00e1s altos causan aumentos dram\u00e1ticos en el nivel de glucosa en sangre, mientras que aquellos con IG bajo toman m\u00e1s tiempo para descomponerse y dan como resultado un aumento o disminuci\u00f3n gradual de los niveles de glucosa durante un per\u00edodo cuando se consumen regularmente como parte de la dieta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de las barras de caramelo y los chocolates tienen un IG muy alto que oscila entre 60 y 80; por lo tanto, estos pueden no ser adecuados para los diab\u00e9ticos, pero se pueden disfrutar ocasionalmente sin culpa, siempre que se cuiden otros componentes de la dieta, como reducir la ingesta de grasas, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Por otro lado, las frutas como manzanas, naranjas, etc., generalmente clasificadas en 40-50 en la escala de \u00edndice gluc\u00e9mico, \u00a1lo que las convierte en opciones m\u00e1s saludables que la mayor\u00eda de los dulces que existen hoy en d\u00eda! Si se te antoja algo dulce pero saludable, prueba algunos bocadillos de chocolate amargo o frutas secas. Satisfar\u00e1n sus papilas gustativas y ser\u00e1n mucho mejores para su cuerpo en comparaci\u00f3n con los refrigerios azucarados procesados disponibles en todas partes hoy en
